A Few Of My Victims

I have another confession. i. kill. plants.
Really good ones too. I don't know why I do it, but I just can't seem to stop.
Any plant unlucky enough to make it into my house DIES.
The pink Azalea.
The coveted Red Japanese Maple
Delicious Basil
The Christmas Amaryllis (3 of them!)
Soothing Aloe Vera
Pine Tree
Clematis
And Many Others.

Many of these plants are currently under my kitchen sink, an unworthy grave for such wonderful plants.
I ditch my victims there when I am in a hurry to clean up and hide the deadly deed when visitors are coming over.
This post is for all of you that I have killed.
I'm sorry.
Truly I am.
I wanted all of you.
Especially you, Mr. Red Japanese Maple. You are expensive.

I just want you to know that I sucessfully grew from seed many plants indoors this spring.
Many of them made it outside and are still alive today.
I am trying.
Really.

What, are you forgetting Susan? You started her and I still have her - she is alive and doing well. This is one plant that will not die. Get another Susan - or take a start home and she can once again be apart of your life. :)
